Okay, um, I'm lost. Uh, I'm angry, and I'm armed, so if you two have something that you need to work out --

We're all glad to know you, too, Allyson.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The urge to run away with the circus is really strong today.

Facebook has reached a critical mass today of (1) bad information about viewing the eclipse (no, you should not take a selfie of the eclipse); (2) people losing their minds over Joss Whedon and/or losing their minds that anyone would dare to criticize him; and (3) people continuing to defend the Confederacy.

I don't even watch Game of Thrones, but all the reaction posts to last night's episode are the only posts on FB that aren't sending me into a raaaaage.

Our wings are not tired.

It seems I have to compartmentalize at this point in life because my entertainment options decrease dramatically if I eliminate actors/producers/directors/writers/etc that are assholes.

It's complicated.

Because books.

Yes, that, Laura. Also, yes, that, Allyson.

My don't wanna today is so very persuasive.

The urge to run away with the circus is really strong today.

But the circus is no more. ::sadface::

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's a metaphorical circus. It's always available to run away to.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yeah so if anyone is needing a Southern friend with family that fought on the losing side for " diversity" in your friend group, I am here for you. I should really consider activating those DAR and DoC memberships that I qualify for.

Thrive to spite them

I also am a Southerner with family that fought for the losing side. A special bonus 1 was a POW of the Union.

OH MY GOD I just got review comments back from a PM who told me that the content has "a lot of redundancy" -- the content being EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME TO ADD LAST TIME.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's my favorite kind of feedback, Dana...

I just had a meeting with a higher-up for him to talk while I took notes, so I can write something for him, basically. I still have work to do on my own biases, because I was surprised he has a wife, due to his being thin, well-dressed, and working in the arts.

There are still circuses to run away with! [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Can I get some ~ma? My BFF and her daughter are 2 hours late and I have no way to contact them. I'm very worried.
