Coworkers are developing a geek astrology, based on what OS you were born under. Mine is iffy, because we're looking at proto-systems being worked on by weird people in IBM's basement.
This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Yeah, CP/M is actually 1974, so that's not early enough for me. The PDP-11 is the one that most closely aligns with 1971. RSX-11 for those machines came out in 1972, with the PDP-11 in 1970.

Ugh, the way people have been piling on more work while simultaneously delaying getting me what I need to *do* it in the lead-up to leaving on vacation, I'm torn between making a pinhole viewer for the eclipse or a black sword I can wave around while shouting "BLOOD AND SOULS FOR MY LORD ARIOCH!"
