There's some kind of analogy to be made between the Colts relocating and monuments being removed but I can't quite get there. Nice to see that sneakiness being used for good.

I was pleased to see that the mayor of Lexington, Ky., made an announcement that confederate statues would be coming down. I know some people who work for his family's company and they're all nice people. And I'm so pleased that many more are coming down.

The van I reserved to pick up tomorrow is available today at no extra charge, so I need to run out at lunch time to pick it up. And I'm getting my hair cut at 4:30. And I have a ton of stuff that needs to get done work-wise before tomorrow. This will be fun.

-t, I think I neglected to congratulate you on your father's return. Perhaps it's time to put a lo-jack on him ... just to make sure.

Yeah, I'm tempted to microchip him.

He's been tracing his route since he got back and he was totally walking in circles. He was at Yellowhammer Lake at least twice, and the SAR people told him if he had stayed there they would have found him right away because that's where the helicopter landed.

I know the usual advice is to stay put so people can find you ... obviously, "they" know what they're talking about.

You are correct. That is advice he has given out, in fact, but is seemingly unable to follow. As we pretty much knew.

And if your compass is unreliable because you have a magnet on your shoulder strap and you follow the sun but don't pay attention to what time it is you go in circles. It is known.

Oh man. I feel like that's something I would stupidly do, all the while insisting that I'm super smart for following my compass...

brillig

My coworkers are waxing lyrical over Dorito-shelled tacos and singing the praises of the mad genius who thought it up. They amuse me.
