I'm so glad there's good news, -t.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Wonderful news, -t! What a relief!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I feel weird right now. My sister sent me a message via Facebook that an uncle died. I don't remember him. I remember the name, but have zero clear memories of him to separate him out from various other relations on my dad's side of the family.

ETA This guy is not showing up on our family tree on Ancestry.com. Whoever filled in dad's siblings did not include spouses and children. But the more I think about it, the more I think he might be a stepbrother.

Our wings are not tired.

Ok, then. School's starting soon, I can do this.

Yes you can, and many lives will be better for it. Thank you.

Oh -t, not only is this a great relief, but it was a great reminder to him to follow the rules of the trail!

Librarian Warlord

-t, that is great news!

Scrappy, moving is a lot of work! I usually end up day dreaming about setting a small, strategic fire, and just leaving with a check from the insurance company to replace everything at the other end, because I'm kicking myself for having so much stuff.

Coding and Sleeping

Tomorrow my son heads back to school for his special hybrid college/high school program, and today my daughter is starting her first job as a vet assistant.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, here's an important question for a Monday morning: I bought the wrong color foundation at CVS. Despite that, I've used it a few times. Do I try to exchange it? Or just toss it? Or try to find a friend who would want it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

In tilting my head back to enjoy the last bits of my Cherry Coke Zero, I managed to dump some of said soda on my face. Game on, Monday.
