I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sliding into your documentations!

Ha!

Tomorrow is fine, Nora. [link]

Good luck with all that, Sophia.

We had a potluck lunch with way too much food and some picnic type games (my team won the second water balloon toss, woohoo!) and now I have no inclination to do any work whatsoever.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I would be more worried if the military seemed to be on That Man's side. I'm sure there are people there who think he's great, but the majority of the Powers That Be seem to be in "Keep distracting him while we keep anything dangerous out of his way" mode.

I'll say one thing, my opinion of our military leadership has risen by leaps and bounds since I've been able to observe how they respond to the Cheeto-in-Chief.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

So I went to pick Mr. S up at daycare and saw he was in an unfamiliar outfit.( He had had an accident, and there were no clean clothes of his around.) They put him in a pajama-like two piece outfit with dinosaurs on it. The T-Rex has a speech bubble that says "BA HA HA HA" I am amused.

My gosh, the modern world. I ordered a couple of skirts from Holy Clothing on Wednesday, the 9th. They're in India. It was delivered today. The package got from India to Utah, with stops in Germany and Cincinnati, in two days. It's taken longer than that to get from places in California.

Decisions to make: looks like it will soon start raining, but it also looks like thunderstorms this afternoon. So go swimming in the rain & chance it that it won't get so heavy they close, or wait until afternoon& risk thunderstorms.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

So if anyone is having problems with the inherent terribleness of reality (like me), you might want to stay off Twitter today. Watch videos of cute animals instead.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Uncle update- home hospice is coming on Monday! Yay! My aunt still doesn't quite believe it is paid for. I think my mother (and they) are confused because because they think they don't have medicare, they have some other insurance that medicare pays for? I think maybe it is their third party administrator.

Well, good thing I didn't try to go to the city pool; turns out it is closed because of AFAM being in the park today.
