All I accomplished this weekend was watching shows.
I didn't even do that. Read two or three books, which I probably am overdoing.
That's great, Laura! How is your sister doing with it?
Way to go, Jesse.
I am slightly less grumpy after reading y'all's posts, so that's nice.
Wow, Laura, that's huge! How is your sister doing? I know there can be a lot of emotional attachment to hoarded stuff.
And -t, I haven't read a full book in a couple of months. We balance each other out.
It was the belief of the family that my sister slipped into this hoarding horror after the death of her son 24 years ago. I really think that the death of our mother is the impetus for letting it go. She has also lost 40 pounds since Mom died. Wanting to make Mom proud of her? I don't know, armchair shrinking here. She is going to have my other sister stay with her when she comes up in a week for Mom's memorial. I haven't even fully gone into the house yet, just the mud room. Her son and I are just acting like it is just normal as can be to clean up after 24 years. Privately we are all weeping with relief that she seems to have turned a big corner in her life.
I manage to....naked slip-n-slide with a horde of drunk lezzers?
Nice, meara!! Way more fun than I had over the weekend. Well done!

Wow. Life is really hard, you know?
Nothing I did this weekend involved a horde of drunk lezzers. Since my daughter turned 18 this weekend it wasn't really a weekend for getting things done. I did do a fair amount of website work though.
I need to get rid of this Monday morning ritual where I wake up full of regrets for all the stuff I didn't get done over the weekend.
There's a group of us, huh? Tho' my ritual for this happens on Sunday nights, as I'm trying to fall asleep.
I edited a bunch of scripts with my co-creator for a podcast, and took a bunch of stuff to Goodwill to donate. I should have also Swiffered the house, and tackled the next part of the Great Uncluttering, but oh well.
