this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm sorry you're having a crappy day, Steph. Do you think eating something small and plain like crakers, even if you're not hungry, might help the stomach pain?

Maybe? Boy, I do not feel good all of a sudden. I might lay down after I finish this stupid author return.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Best wishes to your uncle, Sophia. I'm sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, Sophia. Can they get hospice to come to their home? I don't think it's usually full-time, but depending on how he is, it might be enough?

Also, everything on the edges of my field of vision is kind of...spinning, which doesn't seem like a super great thing.

That does not sound good at all! And if you haven't eaten, eating would always be my first idea, even if your stomach feels bad -- something bland. Can you microwave a potato or something?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Jesse- my aunt thinks they can't afford/insurance won't cover that, but hopefully there are options. When my grandpa was dying at home it was horrifying (I was 18), and I don't remember any help, although I also don't remember much of anything except him crying for help all the time in the middle of our house and me trying to not be home ever.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Here Steph, have some schadenfreude:

My neighbors whose enormous house ruined my view are having a loud annoying pool party today.

It's 55 degrees, gray and windy. Happy August!

(Maybe I'm a bad person, but I find this kind of stuff actually helps. It's helping me anyway.)

That's awful. I would encourage her to explore her options, if her insurance is even half-decent. I feel like home care is increasingly popular?

Sophia, I hope there's a good option out there.

Steph, catching up on the latest I am a little concerned. But it could be the no eating and Ativan - if you're able to make yourself eat something you might be able to see if you should be worried or not?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You certainly are seeming coherent, Steph. Sorry for the super badness.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I hope you can find as good an option for home care as possible for your uncle, Sophia.

Sue, thanks for the suggestions! We'd been talking about the park, but the library wasn't on my radar at all. We'll have to check it out.
