Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I do work from home! I never go in to the office anymore; I can't play their reindeer games even if I wanted to. Why am I on this committee?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's kind of hilarious, Zen. It only makes any sense if they are looking for different perspectives, I guess.

Another set of co-workers are discussing the disposal of dead bodies. Some of us may not have enough to keep us busy.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Super aggravating work day with passive men not doing what asked. Men questioning or challenging every direction I give. Half ass doing jobs. Nay saying everything. This is why I don't want to head up any projects when none of them report to me. Fuckwits the lot of them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, that sucks msbelle. Responsibility without power, ick.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Holy cow, this Ask a Manager update.

Just...wow.

Yeah, wow. And also huh. Everything she says in her defense just makes it worse. Amazing.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Not only is it my anniversary today, my nephew and his wife had a baby last night. A little girl named Sophia Marie. I love the name, although I don't know where the Italian influence came from, as we're pretty WASPy and his wife is First generation Chinese. They are a great couple--one of those duos who enjoy and respect each other and it's the perfect time for them to have a child so it's a totally joyous event. My mom's first great-grandchild and they named her on purpose so they'd have the same initials, which made her cry.

Holy cow, this Ask a Manager update.

People like this exist in reality? It's like sitcom management. I would be a rotten manager, and I know better than this. Being snarky in-team is one thing, but directly contradicting the instructions from higher-ups because you know better?

I KNOW.

I was just going to say something about an old friend of mine who has a kid named Sophie, but the relevance is mixed up -- he's Italian American, but lives in China!
