First the machines lull us into passivity with their Bob Ross back catalog, and then they stab us.

Our wings are not tired.

Quick question: my son and GF are running up to Canada today exploring. Should they get some Canadian folding currency or just use their US bank credit/debit cards?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If they need cash, they should get it from a local ATM anyway, so the only thing I'd suggest is telling their banks they are going.

Oh, crap. This just made me realize I never renewed my passport.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Shit. Sam Shepard passed away. I don't want to tell TCG.

brillig

My bank has a handy page where I could fill out the dates I'd be in Las Vegas.

And I meant to get a passport this year. Not too late!

The kids got theirs before they came here for vacation so they would have the pop into Canada option. I think half the reason for the trip to Québec is to use them for the first time.

I was gonna get up at 8 and go to Druid to swim.

My body had other ideas. I slept so hard I'm stiff. And still have cold brain. It seems like my brother is faring much worse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But you're still on vacation? That seems like a good plan.

Also a good plan!

Oh, I never think to do that and yet half the time I go, my card gets declined. I don't understand why Discover doesn't yet know that I go grocery shopping in Las Vegas every year!

Technically, yes. In reality, I need to go grocery shopping and pick up Loki's meds. Onwards! With a box of Kleenex at the ready.
