Coding and Sleeping

Gud has just moved up my list of people to contact if I ever need something hacked.

Well, that kind of attack wouldn't work on any reasonably secure system. That's really for older systems that nobody has ever brought up to date with modern coding standards.

Like the systems that control our nuclear arsenal?

Sleep tight, everyone!

I SAW DENALI.

And ziplined through old growth forest and it was chill.

Also, my current location is a house away from Sarah Palin's Wasilla home. I can see it from the hotel back lawn. I am nonplussed.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

So how are the Russians looking, sarameg?

Those are both lovely dresses, Dana.

I wish eShakti delivered to my home without me being here. Or, rather, I wish the carrier they chose did. After a week of calling eShakti and the carrier's customer support and all of us telling the local office that, yes, I wanted them to leave the dress there without anyone signing for it, they still refused to do so. (I am not in a high crime area.) The only reason I ever got the dress I ordered was that a neighbor stayed home sick one day and signed for it. The dress was totally not worth the headache. No dress is.

I would also love to see 90s fashion return. I'd stock up on shawl collared jackets and dark dresses with nice patterns that go past my knees and have sleeves. Like this. [link]

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

7am meeting. Couldn't sleep. Much groggy. Super yawn.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have an offsite meeting this morning, and I'm so early! I am not good at adjusting my timing.

There's a dating app called Plenty of Fish, or so this commercial would have me believe. I get the concept, but I'm not really sold on that title.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

There is. I was on PoF for less than 48 hours before I went screaming for the hills. I still get emails with my new matches 4 years later. The place is like Hotel California, without the wine.

Sara, that's so awesome! It sounds like a wonderful time, minus the proximity to anything Palin.

Took a long time to get into work this morning. I did get to use my chainsaw though.
