Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

~ma for your co-worker and her family, quester.

Could I have a little health~ma for my dad? According to my mom, he was feeling sick over the weekend and finally went to the ER today(after my mom out-stubborned him). They took X-rays and found he had an infection in his lung. He's been admitted to the hospital and given antibiotics. Hopefully he'll be able to go home tomorrow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Went to the dentist in Concord, CA today. At first when I chipped my tooth, the tooth didn't hurt, it was just the pointy part of the tooth cutting into my tongue that hurt. But then my tooth started hurting too, so I started getting worried.

The dentist ground off the pointy part, but it turns out the pain was unrelated to the chip in the tooth. I have a cavity and there's an infection.

I now have antibiotics that should take care of the pain, and since that tooth is a wisdom tooth (that I've had tons of work on over the last 20 years), I'll have to get it extracted when I get back to Chicago.

I hope the antibiotics work their magic on your dad, Sheryl.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Good on your mom for out-stubborning him, Sheryl.

Our wings are not tired.

Quick recovery ~ma wishes for your dad, Sheryl.

Hope the tooth settles down, tommyrot. Whoever coined the term wisdom tooth was unwise. More like paininthejaw tooth.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Because books.

Health ~ma for Sheryl's dad and for Tom's tooth!

I ran out of ideas for social media posts for the bakery, so I just scheduled a photo of the Sharpei curled up like a croissant, and the sloths or pain au chocolat? meme.
