Well, the Impeachment clause just refers to "high crimes and misdemeanors", it doesn't specify federal crimes. Basically, impeachment is a political thing rather than criminal, and high crimes are whatever the House of Representatives thinks they are.

I went to the hardware store and bought patching compound and grout, which I think means I'm regrouting the bathtub tomorrow. Whoot.
