I would have said 8, depending on your neighborhood. Especially on a super-hot day.

With half an acre, I think 8 is fine, especially when it's super hot.
I live in Florida. People routinely mow at 7 AM. It hot. We understand.
Warren supports open borders, single payer healthcare, amnesty for illegal immigrants and higher taxes on us.
Vote Warren!
Seriously, if any of my neighbours fire up the mower before noon on the weekend, they get the stinkeye from me.
Same here, but I am an unreasonable nocturnal person. Our neighbors usually start around 8-8:30.
Gud, I want to say that's a lot that you do. And I'm sure your wife is under stress but SO ARE YOU!
And your stress is valid and your needs to not be so stressed are also valid.
I was at Arby's for lunch, and I overheard a couple of guys wearing name tags on lanyards talking. "It's all about the money," one said, "if you get enough guys into Sector 3, you can do it." I sighed, resigned to hearing yet another pair of young go-getters planning on how they'll retire before 30. Then, "Sector 6 is a problem, though, because they've got missiles. And the guards resurrect." To my delight they spent their lunch time doing in-depth strategy for whatever video game they're playing. Much nicer than listening to people discuss how to get other people to give up money they can't afford.
At the end of the meal, the chief strategist looked down at the mess and nodded. "This was very successful. I approve of this method of feeding myself."
Timelies all!
Quiet weekend ahead. Mostly running errands to have things ready for our Ontario loop vacation.
Starting next Friday, we will be on vacation. We will drive up to Ottawa, spend a few days there sightseeing(neither of us has been there, and it is Canada's 150th), then drive to Toronto. We'll spend a few days there, sightseeing and meeting up with friends, then drive to Pittsburgh for Confluence, which is the first weekend of August. Then home.
Then, "Sector 6 is a problem, though, because they've got missiles.
Potential overthrow of the government?
And the guards resurrect."
...or not! That's awesome!
22 of the Calculated Fields I have created in this excel file over the last few days have self-destructed. I don't think I hav eit in me to start fixing all that today.
