Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so anxious about my biopsy results that I am really killing it at work! I am getting lots of things done that I have been putting off because So, Bonus?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Fingers crossed for reassuring results, Sophia!

Long pants don't really bother me unless I'm walking around a lot in sweltering heat, but long-sleeved shirts are awful if it's above about 70°. And if my job ever requires the wearing of a necktie for anything more than a brief awards ceremony, I'll be looking for a new job.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Fingers crossed, Sophia!!

Ooh, a former coworker of mine just let me know he's on the market, and I actually think he might be perfect for the job I'm hiring for! The good news, if he isn't, I'll probably be going with an internal candidate, so that's easy enough to explain.

Because books.

Fingers crossed, Sophia!

Jesse, when you said "on the market," I expected that sentence to go a whole other way.

Haha. Relatedly, I was having a semi-professional coffee the other day (family friend, and our work intersects), and he was starting to say something about some colleague I don't know, and then he said, "Oh! He just got divorced..." and that conversation went a whole other way!

Ah, so it into the intricacies of family law. Sounds interesting.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Was he trying to set you up, Jesse?

I saw Sherman Alexie last night and it was deeply moving and excellent. I was only sad to realize I had missed Roxanne Gay earlier in the month and Arundathi Roy whose book I want to read.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My god, this woman on Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta (shut up) is terrifying. She's a pageant mother and is just the worst version of that stereotype. She keeps telling her daughter to "Sparkle, baby!" Like, she's got a catchphrase, and she keeps repeating it with this manic glint in her eyes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woohoo Jane Austen!

Let us hope, aurelia. I may have to make a pilgrimage out to The Bulb at some point.

Finally remembered to call the vet and ask why we were giving Walter 90 mg of Galliprant every 12 hours when the previous prescription was for 50mg every 24 hours. Just a mistake, no harm done other than costing me an extra $120 or so for the extra pills he shouldn't have been getting, but not bad for the dog which was my worry.
