Thrive to spite them

I'm worried about what McConnell will do with the tax reform that is planned. They need a win. They also need to punish those who defied them.

I read that Trump was willing to put up his own money against GOP incumbent running for re election.Flake I think because he has been so vocal in his criticism of Trump

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Ugh. Our prosecutor opted to not bring charges against Ray Tensing a third time for killing Sam Dubose. I'm not surprised, because if there were a third trial, I think it would have had a hung jury again. But I am disappointed in this whole damn system.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The day Trump puts up his own money for lunch will be a first. Though vindictiveness does seem to be a driving force in his character so who knows.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

He'll probably claim to be putting up his own money, but in reality it will be other people's money.

Well it was called Trump's money but I'm sure it wasn't really his.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He'll hire the consultants and just never pay them.

And then he'll blame Hilary.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S is being extra annoying tonight(yet still more mature than Trump) and Gary just called to say he's stuck in traffic and will be late getting home. Argh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Where I'm severely tested is my commitment to not wishing harm on others. I want those miserable cretins to suffer. Sometimes even my standard enemy wish, the Angel revenge (without the sex clause), isn't enough. I want boils and blinding torment, and that makes me feel like a horrible person.

That's why I confine myself to wishing these people will be healed of their selfishness, greed, and rage to learn genuine empathy, compassion, and ethics. It's good for their souls. The fact that such a process is likely to be profoundly uncomfortable may cause a certain amount of enjoyment on my part, the which I might need healing from thus causing my own discomfort... Well... we each can only follow our own paths...

ETA I must also confess to a certain fantasy in which persons such as the Republican President, Paul Ryan, and Anne Coulter are bound to a chair, hooked up to electrodes which deliver a modestly painful shock each time they tell a lie - to ask them about the things they lie about and why. They don't get to get up until they become conditioned to tell the truth. Pretending really hard to believe something their own bullshit does not count as telling the truth when objective reality points a different way.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have basically managed never to hear the man speak. I sometimes read transcripts, but they are like word salad I cannot parse.
