this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

...was your office a porn movie set in the 1970s? That is seriously trippy carpet!

Not recently...

The good news is that the county licensor who inspected last week (we did well, only minor problems that were corrected in front of the inspector person) noticed the split in the carpet that is located under my desk and is recomending to the landlord that it be replaced. She's calling it a trip hazard.

That carpet is headache inducing! yikes.

This morning Grace dropped a plastic lead for the dogfood on her foot. She has been complaining about it all day. She even showed me where her toe hurts before her bath. Then she said, "I'm lucky I can walk at all." My girl with the flair for hyperbole.

It looks great if you're hosting orgy parties for decadent British aristocrats.

Also I suck at google cricket. I think I would suck at regular cricket even more.

Tooth looks like it should be boring for a while. Filling on Thursday (endos don't to fillings, just insides, apparently,)

When you mentioned blueberry cake in Noah's incident, threw me back. I was off blueberries and crepes for almost a couple decades thanks to a stomach flu that started with me barfing in my parents' bed. It was very purple and gooey. Not the first time I ruined my parents' bed; first was when mom's water broke with me & ruined her bed and favorite moccasins.

...should remind her of that next time she suggests we share a hotel bed(no.)

His was popcorn. But it won't stop him, I'm sure.

Aversion therapy in the form of barfing is really effective with me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The only thing that concerns me now is that most of the opposition is because the bill isn't cruel enough. But hopefully if they were to make the bill worse, they'd lost more moderate Rs.

That probably means the Republicans have to go to Pelosi to get Dem votes which will save pre-existing conditions and Medicare.

They'll have to move to the middle, keep the moderate Republicans and lose the far right.
