No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I love the drawing , Gud.

On my old kindle I had all my books sorted by categories - and they only showed up in those places - now they show up in two places - in a list and category. so category is not useful. I am guessing I could figure this out, but don't wanna.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have gone from doing nothing with my online dating profile for two months, to messaging 7 people (only out of shame if I had to face my counselor having done nothing AGAIN). To today, responding to anyone who messaged me in the last week (even if they only message "Hi" which way to go out on a limb there, real effort). Also go through and eliminating people when possible from the various search functions they provide, since they say it will help them find me better matches.

text speak in profile, no. portraying yourself as a hero/knight... - no bad grammar, punctuation, capitalizations - no religious - no conservative - no

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Those seem like reasonable criteria, msbelle.

I'm irritated that Amazon puts my collections in the cloud. It's one thing if you want to back that up. I don't, and when I have a bunch of books in a collection that weren't purchased from Amazon, it confuses the cloud.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, you will feel better if you do it.

I have been inside all day. You people inspired me to organize my eBook library.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S's birthday party is done, and went well. We have much dessert-y type snack food left over.(We have a reasonable amount of cake left- 1/4 sheet cake rather than 1/2 is the right choice.)

I did all I planned and then some. Add amazing jerk chicken at the neighborhood celebration, Caribbean fest parade by my hood on the walk back, a fruitless trip to the hardware store(but I get to pet the store cat) and rosé vinho verde cocktails. I'm a little sticky & Loki managed to barf on 2 rugs and inside clothes left on the floor, but today was really nice. Met new neighbors, got to know better ones I met earlier this week. Today was so Baltimore & the people who make me love it.

And that jerk chicken was divine.

Tomorrow I'll fix the sink and clean. But also morning swim.

Ticketmaster is such a fucking racket. I just paid $20 in fees on a $15 ticket.
