Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish I had a crepe! But am just as glad not to be at the airport.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Now I also wish I had a crepe. What I do have is a plan to call in sick after this meeting ends.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm having one of those mornings where waking up fully feels like swimming through molasses. If I didn't have therapy in an hour, I would go back to bed. So I have a very large coffee.

I was trying to decide if I should call in sick or late or something myself, but realized that I would be better off out of the house and in the airconditioning.

I have a crepe! But then I spilled my coffee everywhere, which probably is the universe making up for check in and security being quick and painless.

The tennis commentators are pointing out that two points in each game will be important: the serve and the return.

Right. Like how in baseball, the pitch and the hit are kind of important.

Our wings are not tired.

When I got up this morning it was nearly 70 so I opened all the windows. Now it dropped to 60 and 85% humidity so I am closing all the windows and putting on long (inside) pants.
