I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."
I hate the debate in women's tennis (though it's died down some) about the noises they make while playing, because it's largely sexist and gets into the whole bullshit about women's voices being inherently more annoying than men's.
That said, man, Ostapenko makes an obnoxious whooping noise when she serves.

I've been annoyed by the noises female characters make in some action cartoons I've been watching. They always make grunts of effort in their fights, but the male characters don't.
