You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I don't know how you are doing it. S7 is so bleak, I don't think I could marathon that.

It is definitely harder and slower to get through than other seasons. Took me over 2 hours for 1 ep today. I just gave myself a deadline, so I am plowing through.

Our wings are not tired.

My Elementary marathon is going well. Season 1 complete and up to Ep4 of Season 2. I've been following along with the old discussion in the Procedurals thread, although I find there was far too little! No doubt I will have finished the 5 seasons before the 6th begins next year.

Going to finally see Wonder Woman tonight with my sister. Seeing it at my favorite ancient small town theater. Check out the pictures [link] Great owners, and even the family dog that will clean up your spilled popcorn.

I had a really nice day. I swam in the morning outside & had lovely conversations with fellow obsessed swimmers. I love Baltimore.. Only teeny stripes of sunburn. Put on my new favorite sundress. Got Mexican comfort food taco and sope and homemade agua fresca from my now favorite place (she knew it was my bday, went to get me a cupcake this am but bakery was closed, so she gave me 2 large aguas for free) & ate on the waterfront, watching people picnic and fish and exercise and romance and flirt and just be. Walked a bit on the promenade and saw the second trashwheel, the FEMALE Professor Trashwheel. Got a little bit sunburnt. Bought birthday candles for me & a friend for neighborhood wine Wednesday. Drank a bottle of vinho verde. Talked to my fam. Got another adorable hedgehog creation from them. My brother is mad he didn't send me a towel.

Good start for 42. Helps I like the number.

I have a root canal at 8 am tomorrow ( what was I thinking? Should have made it at least 9.)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So my friend for whom I was searching "hipster" just suggested the uber-hipster tinned seafood place, so yeah.

Is it the place in New Orleans? (N7) Or is this a thing in other places?

What is a trash wheel?

sarameg - Jul 09, 2017 5:52:21 pm PDT #13653 of 30002

A water garbage collector. They sit at the outlet of a waterway into the harbor. Boons guide floating trash into their gaping maw, and powered by solar and/or the flow of water(hence the wheel part, they have a wheel like a mill or paddle boat for when water is rushing by), they conveyer belt up the incoming trash into floating dumpsters to be hauled away. We've got 2 now & other harbors are signing up for this Baltimore born contraption.

Ours also got googley eyes and anthromorphicated.
