YAY DANA!!
Since I had semi-unexpected overnight guests--Cousin contacted me Thursday afternoon about spending Friday night over-- I am trying to build upon my quickly cleaned up house and do deeper cleaning/clearing.
My living room really did get into presentable shape easier than I thought, but that means a lot of stuff I need to deal with got put away out of site.
Thus far I have almost managed to clean off the table beside my chair. I also scrubbed and bleached the kitchen sinks.
I am also in cleaning mode. Taking a break just now, soon will be scrubbing the bathtub.
Aw, kitty! And nice dream, Matt.
Hooray for sold house!
Also, I am amazed at Jesse's lightning trip to the beach!
Gudanov, I just read the last dozen or so posts on Building a Better Board. I know I have said it before, that I don't really understand what you are talking about - that I appreciate your hard-won knowledge and all the work you are putting in, bears repeating. I'm sure people who do know what you are talking about appreciate it even better.
Thanks. I wish I could just charge ahead and get it done, but I have to keep it a back-burner project right now.
Wah, strawberry season is over! Peach started but the first week is usually disappointing.
I've heard this will be a bad year for peaches. As a kid I always picked strawberries for my grandparents in August. How is that season over?
Depends on your location. These are Delmarva (& PA) farms. Strawberries are MayJune. The market provides a helpful guide to when things are usually in season here [link]
I think my swim is gonna be stormed out. I shoulda paid attention & gone earlier. If it's not letting up in time, I guess I'll start oiling furniture.
My mother swims now, and the place she goes is inside, but with a retractable roof! I think that's so cool.
In NOLA we start getting strawberries in February.
Just finished a whole bunch of cleaning. Unfortunately, I also used up a lot of our garbage and recycling capacity and pickup is Friday this week.
I hate when the cans are full and there's still more you want to do.
