Gads, that's so awful, Steph. I wish loads of strength for you and your family.

You realize at this point anyone who gets shitty about you cancelling plans and just curling up with a blanket over their head can get fucked, right?
I just want to remind you of that so you know you're not being an asshole for taking care of yourself when the world isn't letting up on you.
I didn't even think of that! Right on.
We actually are going from brunch with Dad to a 30th birthday party for Tim's nephew. And at this point I would beg off of the party (it's in about an hour), except it's at a brewery with a rooftop patio and it's 84 and sunny and they make an excellent cider and I'm going to go drink a crapload of cider, because fuck everything and this is how my family copes.
Timelies all!
I'm so sorry, Steph.
I finally went and got funky colors put in my hair. Not the whole head, but a good part of it has blue and purple streaks in it.
So sorry,Steph. No words. May the cider be the perfect balm
Steph - that is awful. I am so sorry.
From the cleaning out of the lady's place 2 weeks ago, I found a platter like this and thought I'd keep it because the pattern makes me happy, but now I think I should sell it, because I am not sure it makes me $20 happy. It is California Pottery from the late 50s called Happy Time, I mean COME ON. BUT, it doesn't match my stuff and how often am I gonna use a platter. If I want to get random pieces that don't match but make me happy, I should get salad plates and bowls.
Enjoy the cider. I hope your dad is able to rest tonight.
Yay for fun hair colors Sheryl! (For some reason my phone now thinks it is colour.)
I'm so sorry, Steph.
Geek joy moment. My almost DIL works as a service advisor at Tesla and she took a video of a kitty rescue earlier today in her shop and the big boss saw it and tweeted it!!
The car owner heard the meows but couldn't find it so he drove super slow and careful to the service center and they put it on the lift and found it the bumper. She had messaged me the picture and video earlier then just let me know Elon tweeted her video! (I shared his tweet on FB)
Hey! I saw that tweet on Twitter!
