If alla y'all didn't get your telegraphs, I don't know what to tell you.
ION, holy Jeebus SO TIRED. 4:45 a.m. is a BULLSHIT time to wake up, especially when your anxiety wouldn't let you fall asleep until 1:30 a.m. after you stress-ate ALL THE ICE CREAM.
I live about 10(ish) minutes from the hospital, so I came home to feed the wee kitty and get a break, but I'll go back in about an hour, because Mom should be awake sometime between 3 and 5. In theory I'm home to take a nap, but in practice, I can't nap unless I'm sick or heavily drugged. And if I were heavily drugged, I wouldn't wake up in an hour to go back to the hospital.
So I washed the dishes and made the bed because it made me feel better. I should eat lunch, but I'm regretting all that ice cream from last night. Maybe just some soup.
When I fed the wee kitty, it let me pet its little head while it ate! Progress!
Yay Steph's mom! Where's my personalized update card with calligraphy?
Dana, I have been roped into some meetings this week that are driving me nuts with the circular arguments and people stating and restating things for no good reason, and whoever is supposed to be facilitating is not.
I guess I don't give myself enough credit for soft skills like having actual meeting purpose, being ruthless with the agenda, and cutting off non-productive discussion.
Edited to add: Yay kitty progress!
Double checked my FB messenger 3 times, and yet nothing from Teppy. Huh! Maybe I have to reinstall.

Hooray for the Bitty Terror Muffin!
I totally almost texted Teppy last night to ask to be put on the group text notification. (But then I didn't, because I figured the line between funny and stressful was too narrow.)
Yay Teppy's mom! The singing telegram with "We Left Her Heart in Tep's Mom's Body" was pretty magical.
Also yay kitty progress! Socialize, wee feral feline, socialize like the wind!
I don't think my neural implant is working, because I didn't hear anything about Steph's mom, even though I paid for the "Other People's Families" upgrade.
So I went to the CVS Minute Clinic inside Target the other day, and I'm just getting around to looking at the paperwork they gave me. Do regular doctors let you see this stuff?
Constitutional: Appears well-developed and well-nourished.
Yeah, you could say that.
Psychiatric: She has a normal mood and affect. Her behavior is normal.
Success!
Glad to finally hear that your Mom is doing well, Steph. I was sitting here by my tin can with the string all morning, but you never called.
The mechanic just called with an update on our 1999 Subaru fix. I'm going to label this one "Jeff's Anniversary Present" in the checkbook and see if he notices.

Oh, I used to type medical records: HEENT: Head: Normocephalic and atraumatic. Eyes: Pupils equal, round and reactive to light and accomodation. ETC....
Way to go, brenda! A well-nourished constitution is very important, especially in these unsettled times.
Heh, Sparky.
