The Trump administration is so depressing. I hate the way he or his surrogates will just stay stuff that's not true, sometimes not even remotely true. I hate how the US is losing influence in the world. It's just... ugh.

I feel like he's the result of right-wing media which is doing so much damage to the country. I mean republicans and conservatives are not bad people, but those who only rely on right-wing media get such a distorted view of the world. There are terrible left-wing media sources too, but I don't think there are many liberals who would discount the Times or CNN or the BBC in favor of Occupy Democrats or Addicting News. Nor do I think Democratic representatives much care what the Huffington Post says while FOX News is a big player in the GOP than the RNC. I'm not sure what can be done about it though.

Right there with you Gud. The situation has cost me family and friends because I just cannot respect people that support Trump. Period.

To protect my sanity I have upped my reading hours significantly. It is making me feel guilty for not being more vigilant and active in resistance activities. But I just can't stay that engaged. The Rage Overload is too much.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Nothing like dropping a container of leftover ravioli, complete with tomato sauce, on the floor. Especially when you're not allowed to bend over.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

A dog would come in handy for that.

Thrive to spite them

Andi you said

I'm sorry, I have not yet mastered how to navigate these waters

Mastery takes practice and you may not have mastered it but you are practicing and learning right now
