GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Thanks. I'm frustrated. My wife has been telling me to find a new GI for over a year and I was dragging my feet and just dealing with the pain, so this is as much my fault as anything. Maybe if I had switched docs sooner it wouldn't have reached this point.

Seriously, if the Senate flips, I want Pres. Obama to withdraw Merrick Garland on November 9 before the current Senate can decide they're going to approve him after all. Because fuck them.

Especially after McCain making his "promise" (that he then took back) that the Senate wouldn't approve any nominees that a President HRC sent them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kalshane, that sounds miserable. I hope it works out better than it seems like it will right now.

I sit with David and Steph w.r.t. the Supreme Court etc.

I'm doing an editing marathon tonight, because I almost had a panic attack today looking at my schedule. Luckily, Cymbalta keeps me awake.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Horseshoe crabs aren't really crabs, they're more like Jillifonts,

Which is why pictures of them freak me out! But they're really fascinating. HARVEST THEIR BLOOD FOR SCIENCE!

I support this idea so much.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

And then there are the few deplorables who want to have their salary and benefits paid for by the government but don't want to pay taxes, or who think it's OK to support a government by and for just some of the people.

Oh, yeah, I get that, too. It's like the mission we serve has no value to them.

Thrive to spite them

The females are the larger and pairs will come ashore to lay eggs.

It's both bird migration season and horseshoe crab spawning season (at least where I was in FL) so thr birds eat the eggs.

Also they molt. The crabs not the birds. I have picturEs of mold I thought was remains of dead crab.

On FB I've got Gulf Specimen Marone Lab friended, they are a great small grass roots lab that has touch tanks and other things. They collect samples and also save turtles, etc. Some of their specimens have been in space.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Is anyone watching baseball? Was that Trump ad national or did he really waste those ad dollars in the Chicago market?

I tried to vote today but didn't make it in time. I might have to either vote at the downtown location or wait until Saturday.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The Republicans are throwing millions of dollars into ads in these last two weeks, apparently randomly, while screaming.

Chicago didn't even let him hold a rally here. He tried. Once.
