What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I had a fantastic day yesterday, but I also walked more than twice my daily step goal and it's raining. I can barely move today.

Dana, congratulations on selling the house. Sorry about the mixed feelings.

Dana congrats? Can you paint your new bedroom?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry about the mixed feelings, Dana. I'm glad you don't have to keep trying to sell a house!

My departments chain of command, or whatever, is almost all OOO today. Supervisor is out sick, Director is on a stay-cation, Sr. Director is on vacation, only the Manager is supposedly here but I haven't seen her. We were joking that we could all run amok, but we're not.

brillig

'Cause you'd have to clean up the amok.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Congrats on the sale, Dana! At long last. Our bedroom is currently a relaxing green/grey as well. I may just paint our next bedroom the exact same color (Dunn Edwards Particular Mint).

I am taking some house-ma back, as our first buyers dropped out at the last minute. We have back-up buyers, but it put us two weeks behind and we are trying to stall the mortgage broker for our NEW place. Our realtors seem confident that it will all work out, but it's still nerve-wracking.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I once saw a book by a vet called, "All My Patients Are Under The Bed"

I have that book. Also, Zoo Vet, Among the Elephants, Innocent Killers (Hugo van Lawick and Jane Goodall), Cat Talk (Carole Wilbourn), In Search of the Red Ape, etc., etc.

...I wanted to be Jane Goodall when I grew up.

Good luck, Scrappy. And I'm sorry for the mixed feelings, Dana.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Meep! Good luck, Scrappy!

My kitchen remodel started today. I'm wishing I had security cameras so I could watch the demolition in progress!

I'd be torn between watching all the carnage and going far, far away and deliberately not thinking about it. May the result be everything you're hoping for.
