I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

or are you moving again and I missed that?

HA HA HA no. If we were moving again after like 9 months, I'd be loudly losing my mind. This is the Houston house, which is still on the market.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I was going to say bake some cookies to make it smell yummy, but I guess you aren't actually there.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Much house ~ma, both Dana and Scrappy!

I oneroused so much yesterday because I HATE making phone calls, but I sucked it up and made an eye doctor appointment and a GYN appointment so that when I see my PCP he is not disappointed in me. I was really excited, because the mammogram place had an online form, and I didn't have to call. They just emailed me back to call them to schedule my appointment! That is not what I want from online scheduling. They do it for hair salons, why not this!

Ugh, I couldn't get to sleep last night. I finally managed it for good around 2AM, maybe.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Sophia, I was happy yesterday to find that my eye doctor now has an online appointment option. And now I have an eye appointment. I should see if the place that does my mammograms has implemented something like that.

hip deep in pie

Y'all are reminding me that I need to schedule a mammogram.

Re-entry into the real world is difficult, even after only a 4-day weekend. I miss Montreal, I miss warm temperatures, I miss delicious garlic bagels. This sitting half-asleep in a cubicle answering email is no damned good.

Nick Cave was so so good. I no longer have the back and knees for standing room only, but sitting at the back of the theatre wasn't any fun. So after three songs I went back into the fray down front. Numb left leg be damnned.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I made an appointment for my mammogram plus bonus bone density test and now i can't find it on my calendar. I guess I need to call and figure that one out. Dang it.

I just made a mammogram appointment. For September! I don't understand their schedule. Sometimes I have to wait months, other times I get in within days.

Whew - I called and the appointment is next week. I didn't miss it.

Sue, normally when I just need a mammo I can practically do it as a walk in. But when I have to combine it with a bone density, it is always scheduled out a while.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have the order for routine bloodwork (cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid, etc) that is SUPER overdue (I think the last time I had it checked was 2014), so I should keep on adulting and schedule a mammogram, too.
