When do polls start to close? Or is that going to be iffy due to long lines?
Parts of IN and KY close at 6:00 Eastern. I doubt any results will be available until 7:00, when the rest of those states (along with 5 others, including VA, SC, GA, FL, and VT) close. I suspect serious results will start coming in after NC, WV, and OH close at 7:30.
So some results will start showing up when I get off work. Will they release the early vote results at poll close?

Voted this morning before I went to work. We have the paper ballots where you fill in the bubbles and then scan it.

I wish there was an option for optical scan during early voting here, but it's all touchscreen until election day. There is a receipt tape hard copy in the machine though.
This morning when I opened the coat closet to get my shoes I was actually frozen in surprise for several seconds while I kept thinking, "That is not a toy" over and over. My cats have many, many toy mice. The one I was looking at was much smaller and waaaay too detailed. And dead. I suspect the cats played it to death and accidentally batted it under the door.
My bus is caught in Susan B Anthony grave traffic! Let's hope I make it to my polling place!

That's kind of awesome, Sophia. Surely you could flag down someone going to Susan B's grave and have them give you a ride to the polls, if necessary?
I always need red pandas, but I'm about ready to start 36 hours of being a facilitator / camp counselor at a hackathon, so I will have no screen time until Thursday. Probably no me time either. It's going to take every ounce of extraversion I can find.
But it will distract me!
I just have to be in line by 9pm, so I am not really stressed, but I can't believe the cars and the people here! It is really neat!
OMG the cemetery is all lit up and I could see a great big line of people! It is really beautiful.
