Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Msbelle, it sounds like your yesterday was my Saturday.

Are there two sinus things going around? I had a cold last month and now I've got something that is definitely more than allergies. I can feel the 12-hour Claritin D wearing off at around 10.5 hours. The good news is yesterday was mostly headache-free.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

3:30pm?

Yep, I wasn't asleep the whole time, but I was in bed with my eyes closed.

I managed sleep last night soon after midnight and was late to work within the normal timeframe.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

After I was whiny and mopy yesterday, my back feels a lot better today. It still hurts, but it's like someone threw a switch, and it's a normal amount of hurt instead of "oh Jesus why" hurt.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am glad your back is feeling good.

I have been awake since 2:30 am- I am not sure if I don't feel well because I woke up, or if I woke up because I didn't feel well. I did watch the first two episodes of Twin Peaks. I have no expectations because I don't want to be disappointed, but I liked it.

information libertarian

So on my first day as the vice boss my boss is off, and we've gotten involved in a hilarious sort of kerfuffle about a book someone chained up in our stacks that we thought was done by a patron (presumably mentally ill) but turns out to be some kind of art project that was so secret nobody was informed about it. We called security and had facilities remove it (with a bolt cutter) and now we're frantically trying to get it back. #leadership

Yay normal back pain!

I woke up to the sound of helicopter over our apartment (which is GG Park adjacent) so I knew there was some event going on.

Oh, yeah. That helicopter was annoyingly loud.

Yeah, they really should apprise you of these things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But then it wouldn't be underground art, man!

Our wings are not tired.

Hmmm, are you sure that making you vice boss isn't an art project?

brillig

Why can't I find yellow shirts? Did the entire color yellow get ruled anathema? I can never find yellow tank tops, and my sources for shirts that fit me don't seen to carry anything at all in yellow. I haven't tried to sew clothing with set-in sleeves in decades and I don't want to try to re-learn now.
