My team is ridiculous and likes to celebrate everything, so we just had coffee for my 90 days here, and it was actually perfect. It's super hot here today, so we got our drinks (AND they had iced hibiscus tea aka my favorite drink in the world) and took a little stroll in the shade, and it was an excellent use of a half-hour.
The end.
That is so delightful, Jesse! Happy 90th!
Cool. The oxygen sensor I ordered should arrive today. That will be the last step in resurrecting the Nissan. It now starts up and I got the A/C working. I'd really like to get that check engine light off now even if the car seems to be working okay.
Through a succession of calls yesterday to various doctors, I was able to increase my dosage of Percocet yesterday, told I could take the nerve pain drug this morning, and told I could take Percocet this morning.
This is all good news, though I was definitely really hurting yesterday, and I had a lot of trouble sleeping. Today, for some reason, standing is even better than lying down, at the moment. Why? Who the hell knows? I am just ready for the surgery. Surgery now, please. Yes, I would like the drugs and the stitches and all the rest of it.
T-minus approximately 4.5 hours.
Dana, I thought about you this morning, because I wondered when the surgery would be today. I'm so happy for you -- by this evening (or earlier), you should be pain-free and ready to recuperate! Go team back surgery!
Surgery~ma, Dana.
Finally caught up with Natter. I was so wiped out after my trip I took Monday off and slept most most of the day. But I'm still just fatigued and wiped out. I need a weekend to recover.
