Perhaps I should have abbreviated the show. . .
Also: I hope I am even a tiny portion of the bad ass that the woman they interviewed is. . . she is also an incredibly positive person. Which, I guess, makes sense if you're traveling all over the world and getting on strange horses to ride them at a dead run while shooting at targets with a bow and arrow.
ETA: one of the other people they interviewed this morning was a coach for the Mongol Derby.
can I get a bit of nonspecific shiny-object~ma for the next couple months? (if it exists?) ... for no reason, really. none. Whatsoever.
hippocampi-ma!
Was it Ben Franklin who said, if you have a complicated job to get done, give it to the laziest person in the room?
That was the premise in Cheaper By The Dozen. The father was an efficiency expert and always asked to watch the laziest person on the assembly line because they were the most efficient.

But it's a short-term fix, not long-term. Even after surgery, I've relied on less than the prescribed dosages after a couple of days.
Then you were extremely lucky.
Glad I'm not the only one who went there.
The great thing about this place is that I knew for certain that someone would pick up on that one word reference.
>And just think -- you could be like me and focus on neither house chores NOR health!
That's my usual weekend M.O. even though I keep thinking I should do Pilates.
That is some productivity, aurelia!
It was a rare burst outside of work. I did sleep until noon on Saturday, so maybe I finally caught up on sleep enough to be productive at home.
The clearly correct way is to take the drawers out and carry each of them and the cabinet to the moving truck, then put the full drawers back in and do the opposite at the other end. Easy peasy.
I'm on team Scrappy. Just pack things around it to keep the drawers from opening in transit (or wrap the cabinet once it's on the truck).
Remember that day some dude swatted my ass when I was out on my lunch break? Did I mention that here, or FB? I think this is the guy. [link]
Good they got him!
One good thing about the massive ransomware attack going on-- it means that a whole bunch of big governments (including the Russians) are going to be looking for the perpetrators and squishing them like small bugs. A scam like that, it relies on being sporadic, only getting smaller entities annoyed without the resources to come after the scammers.
I think this is the guy.
Good to see they got him.

I hope so. The damage was big in China too. This morning they are making North Korea noises. Not sure if that is proven. Bug that is a bug that would be good to squish.
