Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

Last day of high school??? No way!!

Laura, I'm good at sorting but not at putting on eBay or anything like that. Happy to help when I see you!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I know this is not how work from home is supposed to work, but I have a load of laundry done and I am cruising through the shows on my Tivo.

I have cleared out all the invoices sent to me for approval, dealt with email, and done my reports.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry for the wait, Dana.

That sounds exactly how work from home should work to me, msbelle.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Good signs on the Abigail-the-dog-with-the-too-large-brain. She's been visiting today again, and her disposition is like 150% better, just with the mild pain meds she's been put on.

I just requested a duplicate title to my beloved (but decrepit) Forester, because while I feel like kind of a traitor to trade it in, it's time. SNIFF -- my first ever 'new' car.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A while ago someone wrote an opinion piece about dogs being bred for appearance rather than being functional and commented that King Charles spaniels often have brains too large for their skulls so that they scream in pain. Made my blood run cold.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That's horrible, Toddson. I read that pugs have problems with their eyes due to breeding for appearances, too.

Go team mutt.

Poor dogs. I'm glad to hear Abigail is helped by the meds.

Wow, Todd! Early birthday greetings, that is quite a milestone to reach!

I just requested a duplicate title to my beloved (but decrepit) Forester

How do you do that? That might be what i need to do with my beloved but decrepit Corolla (we paid off the loan but don't have a title on file with California (because we took out the loan in Louisiana? I'm very uncertain about the whole thing))

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, happy early birthday, Toddson!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Question: If I told someone I was available "in the afternoon," do I have any grounds to be eye-rolly about the fact that they came back asking if I could do 11-3? I realize most of that time is technically in the afternoon.
