In hopeful dog news, which I think we all could use, a friend's dog had a small seizure when she was visiting here on Sunday. She was able to take 'Abigail' to the vet yesterday, and the verdict is that it's being caused by a too large brain in a too small skull -- the end result of which is kind of a perpetual canine migraine, which explains why the poor pooch has always been a behavior problem, despite my friend's excellent dog-handling skills.
They can treat the condition with a couple simple drugs, which have a good chance of working. So, like I said, the seizure was actually a good thing, because it has led to a diagnosis that is going to really help the poor pup.
Aw, poor pup, but yay for treatment.
tommmyrot, can you focus on being there for your uncle, regardless of what happens with your aunt? That's got to be hugely valuable for him.
Hivemind - has anyone taken an online class NOT toward s degree or certificate and not part of a multi-class program. I am looking for like a continuing ed thing, cheap, but something that would require me actually doing homework.
I'd say look at EdX. But I would say that.
I need to finish that History of ARchitecture class on EdX
Tommyrot, I stayed in Hayward today, but I did look North to Oakland and waved at you.
If you felt slightly nauseous at 2 pm, maybe I aimed too hard.
Is there anything worse than writing an online dating profile?
No, but there's nothing BETTER than crowdsourcing one.
Hell, among this crowd, we could write your profile in any number of languages, including Elvish.
I am on POF - it is asking for a Headline.
I was told "My therapist made me do this" was unacceptable.
