I think I will be in Oakland on Wed evening, btw, if you need someone to pick up a meal or something like that.
Thanks, -t. Can you send your # to my profile address?
My aunt lives in Lafayette but we still don't know what hospice or hospital she's in. Which causes me anxiety to spend lots of $ on go to see my aunt without knowing all the details. (My uncle's voicemail is full.)
Originally I wasn't sure if I should go, due to my anxiety. But then I decided to go and just not worry about the anxiety. We'll see how well that works.
It's a good thing you're doing, tommyrot.
Seriously, what is with the weather? Do not like.
My mother says the weather guys said May is always like this part of the time.
Great news about Ouise!
Wishing you pain-ease, Dana.
Congratulations, Scrappy! Though I'm not happy about you leaving California, just so we're clear about that.
I'm getting serious about getting a "new" used car. My Forester probably isn't going to pass inspection without major repairs.
This will be the first time I've flown in about 10 years. I checked in for tomorrow's flights and saved the boarding passes to Apple Wallet on my phone.
So apparently the boarding passes just appear on the iPhone's lock screen when needed?
eta: Yes they do. I feel like I just joined the late-aughts.
It's raining, my balcony door is open, it smells and sounds wonderful.
saved the boarding passes
While I have never had a problem using the boarding pass on my phone at the gate, I still print two paper copies -- one for the TSA to scribble on when they check my photo ID, and a backup in my carry-on bag.
Thanks for the tip, dcp.
The thing I hate about flying is everything but the flying part.
tommyrot, my heart goes out to you and your whole family.
I'm so glad for Ouise's good news.
