Did I mention that when I drove by today the line at my early-voting location was outside the library and around the corner? Hooray, civic participation!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I don't know what to wear tomorrow. Maybe a Hamilton hoodie and Captain America socks?
I wish I had a Hamilton hoodie. But I'm working as a poll worker, so I think I'll just wear jeans and running shoes, and a blue infinity scarf. That won't be too partisan, right?
And since I have to be there at 6AM, I will go to bed now...
Tomorrow I will go to my friend's election party, leave by 8PM, and then go home and turn off my phone and binge watch Luke Cage.
I'm currently binge watching The Roosevelts: An Intimate History on Netflix because it's expiring on Thursday, which some of you already know because I'm shouting about my Eleanor Roosevelt feelings on Twitter.
Matt and I are voting at 7am tomorrow. I am actually going to be dressed in work clothes . It feels important.
Voting has always meant something to me. tomorrow feels like a big deal
Happy voting, Buffistas! Do this for everybody.
My parents have picked tomorrow, November 9th, to fly to Florida for a two week golfing holiday. They booked a while ago but apparently didn't really think it through. Though my dad admitted he's more worried about the Zika virus than anything else.
Their November golf holiday in the States has a long tradition though. My mum just told me just the other day that in 2004, people came up to them when they were in Georgia and apologised for the re-election of GWB. And in 2008, also in Georgia, different people apologised for the country electing a n*****. WTF?
God knows what will happen this time.
Off to vote...
...and done. #52 at my polling place, with about 200 still in line.
Good morning, Election Day! Voting accomplished. Long line but moved quickly. Now to get some work done before settling in with a drink to watch the results.
I cannot believe that in this meeting of technical writers, none of whom are early-career, that we've spent 10 minutes discussing strategies to get someone to review your content.
Can't vote until after work (I have to be there by 6:45, before the polls open, and it took until Sunday night to work my way through all the state & local propositions). Also can't leave work more than minimally early because concentration has been shot for the last month, so multiple giant bone-crushing deadlines are now looming. Am super anxious. No pantsuits, so will be wearing a big poofy dress with the VOTES FOR WOMEN/SUFFRAGE NOW sash from Halloween. Have lost pronouns. Am despair.
