I got my flu shot, and it was so fast! I swear last year I waited more than an hour. Today? In and out in 15 minutes.

In truth I wasn't hurting for decent dinner options at the Denver airport, so my disappointment at not eating in Memphis is muted. Settled on some garlic shrimp at a City Wok kiosk that I wouldn't have minded having at a restaurant with tablecloths for half again the price, and there was a Wolfgang Puck's and a wine lounge with lamb meatballs and ahi tuna & seaweed if I'd felt the need to splurge.

My seatmate on the flight in was quiet, slept 95% of the time, and had no discernible odor. Pretty much my only complaint is that he zonked out with his head covering most of the window the Grand Canyon was visible through, and I'll gladly trade the view for not having to make 3 hours of awkward conversation in this election season.

Success! I had a whole bunch of family and friends over to see a visiting family member. Although I knew several were on the other side I left my lawn sign in place and wore one of my Hillary t-shirts. Not a single Trumpster acknowledged it, support from a few. And my dear friend came in, gave me a hug and kiss, said "hate the shirt", and didn't mention it again.

I had a doctors appointment that involved about half an hour of waiting for a two minute appointment. Ah well. Worse was the smelly and gross people on the bus ride to and from the doctors.

Got home and baked cupcakes, then realized it was only like 5pm. So cleaned so my roommate could make the cake she wanted to (which she's doing now...really hoping she cleans up). Now thinking I will go to bed early so that tomorrow will be here sooner.

Partway through today I closed the tab with Facebook open and decided it was better for my mental health if I didn't look again untit alfter tomorrow. I keep feeling tempted and then I remember what is waiting for me there.

I have made my decision on all those damn propositions.Take that out of control grassroots democratic process! I think I will go vote before work because I can.

I got sucked into reading some of the exchanges a few of you had on FB with some completely deluded people. I came close to responding to one (to "I'm just stating facts" I wanted to say, "No, you're really not.") but instead I went walked to the grocery store to get ingredients for a slow cooker pumpkin, chickpea, and red lentil curry and caught Pokemonsters on the way. When I got home I put in a load of laundry in the hopes that I can make my shelf-stained sweater white again to wear tomorrow.

Sweater~ma. That curry sounds great. And reminds me I have loads of squash I need to cook up and a slow-cooker that can probably do it,

I don't know what to wear tomorrow. Maybe a Hamilton hoodie and Captain America socks?
