Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Phew, thank you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thanks for that list, Epic! We are planning a trip to Blue Lagoon, and the place we're staying is less than a mile from Laugavedur road. I'm interested in all these things!

Dana, back ~ma and schedule~ma! Glad you know what the problem is now.

The magic mirror is too expensive and for me would be too complicated.

I'm just scared that pretty soon, Amazon would be like, "That doesn't fit. You need a scarf. You're wearing that?"

Ha, yeah! All it needs is my (very fashion-conscious) aunt's voice.

I feel like people should be more creeped out by the Internet of Things, but I am clearly in the minority on that at my job.

Me too. Too easily hacked, and you don't know who's getting your info or even for sure what they're getting.

I am totally blase about the creep factor of the Internet of Things. I wonder why. Just out of fucks, maybe.

OTOH, this is also me. I'm past the point in my life where I might be committing crimes or hiding from the Feds. Like, there's nothing that interesting about me! Basically, it concerns me because of invasion of privacy and potential human rights violations, but it doesn't concern me much *personally*.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I don't even look at good porn anymore, unless you count Plei's regular reblogging of Chris Evans' photoshoot for Flaunt magazine. (And I do.)

Whee, looks like my whole fam is going to Alaska in late July. While I may have to fly the furthest, having bwi at my disposal probably means the least travel time....(actually, I think B'ham is technically farther.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have now experienced the "I was just talking about that thing yesterday and it showed up on my FB feed without my ever typing it on a computer" thing,

That happened to me last week. And it was very weird and random. To wit: I was in CVS and saw some new Calgon thing and said "Calgon take me away" and my sister was all confused because apparently she's too young to know that. And the the very next day this shows up on my FB feed: [link]

I don't even.

In reality, Baltimore is 19 miles further, straight line. Interesting.

hip deep in pie

The thing that freaked me out lately was chatting with a friend over the work IM about her husband being posted to Yellowknife, then looking at Facebook shortly after and there being ads for Northwest Territories Tourism.
