The money was too good. I got stupid.

Oh good lord, no. Far from the first or only. Practically every refill I've done I've made some kind of mistake on!

In Eat-a-Muffin-Whitey news: I got a chocolate chip bagel this morning (free bagel every day at Panera this month, I am taking some advantage when I can) in hopes that it would approximate a childhood favorite = toast with butter and chocolate chips. Not really, alas.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have some roasted garlic from my roast chicken the other day, and was thinking I should get some good bread to eat it on, but maybe I will get a free bagel instead!

Dana, you are clearly not the first person who ever missed up a medication refill! But I really wanted to know when you'll hear anything about the MRI. Because a good process is one thing, but we want results! I mean, right?

I really should do automatic mail refills. Instead I wait until the last minute and have to go wait at the drugstore.

The nasal pillows made me feel like I couldn't breathe OUT.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ugh, had a nightmare that was a mix of Red Dragon and The Cell last night. Not sure what it was yesterday that sent my subconscious down a body-modifying serial killer path, but I'd rather not repeat it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yipes, Matt. May tonight NOT have that sort of dream!

Hey, speaking of cars like was being done many posts ago! Anyone have any recommendations for a used, reliable, inexpensive car that would hold two large dogs and a kid? We will probably have to sell my Mini (sob), but depending on how much is left after throwing that at bills, etc., we may consider getting a cheaper, more practical vehicle. Right now, we can only carry the dogs in a 1988 Volvo 240 that we don't trust for long distances. (It's on a rebuilt title, has well over 300k on the engine, and while it has served us well in the years we have had it and the $800 cash was well-spent, we kind of need to plan for it dying.)

Lucky Charms: I'm hoping for under 6k. So, you know, I'm probably asking if you can recommend a unicorn.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

A unicorn won't have NEARLY enough room for two dogs and a child. You'll definitely need to get a catbus.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

But I really wanted to know when you'll hear anything about the MRI. Because a good process is one thing, but we want results! I mean, right?

Tomorrow.

If I ever reach tomorrow, because right now I'm on hold with the county appraisal district, and it seems like it actually may never end.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My late midlife crisis has us moving to Michigan and me taking up stand-up comedy and not working in HR anymore. What I'll be doing once we get there is anyone's guess. A 60-year-old switching careers should have it easy, right?

Smooth sailing from here on out, Scrappy. That's what I've heard. What with the wisdom and experience and whatnot.

Or was that "it's all downhill from here"? And is that good or bad?
