I want something like a 3D printer that we can fill with the base materials of our choice (cotton, silk, rayon, etc.) and then send a pattern to. At which point it'll print out clothing perfectly tailored to our bodies and preferences. Instead of shipping premade garments to us, clothing retailers could email us outfit files that we can edit to match our dimensions and needs (put a pocket in it!). Home designers could upload examples of their creations to Etsy and sell the creation files for download. And, when a piece of clothing reaches the end of it's life, utility, or style, there'd be a hopper in the side of the machine that would break the clothing back down to its base materials.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Hush you! I really am hoping that Paul Ryan would prefer a gets things done legacy to an obstruction legacy.
I'm pretty sure he would. Unfortunately, it sounds like he has to spend all his time fighting with the Freedom Caucus rather than actually trying to work on legislation.
I still say gerrymandering is the leading cause of our current government disfunction. All the "safe seats" have lead to more and more extreme partisans getting elected to the House.

Totally. I love that Obama is going to focus on redistricting next.
I was too tired to post about it afterward last night, but my visit to Griffith Observatory let me see the sunset from various vantage points, I got to see two Planetarium shows (Light of the Valkyries and Centered in the Universe, with great sound by our very own Noise Design!), and a surprise bonus was getting to look at the surface of the moon through the Zeiss telescope. Next time I'm allowing a whole day for the Observatory, there was way too much to see in a few hours.
How early do you think the networks will call it tomorrow night? Since California's electoral votes are guaranteed, could HRC get 270 by 9:00?
We have a monthly dinner with friends on the second Tuesday of the month that goes from 7 to about 9 p.m., and I warned everyone that I will be glued to my phone checking the results. It's either that or just stay home (which I'm considering doing, too).
I am hoping they call Florida and Pennsylvania for HRC early, because then I can not worry and just go to bed.
Agreed -- and Florida closes at 7! I may still stay up, but I won't be worried.
I mean, obviously I will be up past 7.
Ain't no way I can go to bed until it's official.
Am dumb.
How are California's guaranteed? I honestly don't know.
The polls have HRC's chance of winning in California at >99.9%.
