(Not that Teardrop Diamond isn't terrible: it's just a very specific sort of terrible that I find utterly charming and that makes me nostalgic for the intentionally overwrought high school readings of Tennesse Williams plays we'd do at lunch. It made me adore BDH.)

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Probable Threepeat: I also have a list of Worsts. Including Worst Performance in a Movie with Scarlett Johansson! (Let's just say no one should ever sit through The Perfect Score.)

Which I get! But CEvan's Serious Acting is slightly not my beautiful cake, and combined with my low tolerance for TW, it made TD just painful for me.
However, I do like Push very much.
I have SUCH a high tolerance for Tennesse Williams.
It helps that we (Gwyn & I) watched it after watching The Perfect Score and Cellular which are horrible, horrible movies.
Though at least Cellular has Surprise!Richard Burgi.
I am feeling the need to maybe just do a CE FILM FEST.
I'm probably needing a WYN rewatch soon. I haven't watched it since December (though I think I watched it three or four times that month).
Aw, when The Losers came out, I didn't know who Chris Evans was. I mean, I had seen him in a couple of things, I think, but I couldn't keep his face straight in my mind. That feels like a long time ago.
He was the afterthought in that cast for me, too. Strange as it seems now.
I'd been panting after him ever since Not Another Teen Movie, so I was very aware of who he was in that one.
I thought Loss of a Teardrop Diamond was very good, but perhaps being squarely in the middle of the intended audience biases me.
Wow, I have seen almost none of these movies.
Turns out if you get enough sleep the night before, 7AM meetings are not so unbearable.
Sorry, I was unable to replicate the results of this study.
Lol. I had a 730 meeting today. But yesterday I had a headache so I slept most of the day. I woke up at 5am and almost got up. But then I went back to sleep and my alarm woke me up at 7. I was not super awake in the meeting, but I do feel fairly well-rested now...I keep hoping one of these days I'll become an "adult" and wake up early naturally.
