It would be convenient if the Jacks were the same size and amenable to sharing pants.
You can push it for another few decades if you try, Tep!

Not changing my name, or the pants thing?

It has "wacky sitcom" written all over it.
As a passport acceptance agent, I have to say that people who use a different name from their legal name are actually super-problematic for getting a passport. We recently had a woman who had an old passport under the name (made up example) Smith-Jones, but her social security card and license were under Smith. She had to bring in 10 different legal documents demonstrating she'd been using Smith for the past 5 years.
tl;dr - Pick a legal name, folks!

Indeed!
Bahahahahahaha!!!

I feel like such a rebel. Though I wouldn't try to get a passport under "Beckmeyer" since that's not my legal name. When I fly, it's always under "Lang."

Just one, right? Jeez. So many rules, man.
Unfortunately, Stormageddon is taken.
I was thinking the legal name. The pants thing would get old before a single decade, but if you hung in there it would become funny again, I suppose.
You have a nom de aviation. Nice.
More pants is not a bad idea, actually: my dad was always losing clothes in the laundry at his ALF.
Parental Pants Update! My dad *claims* he owns 35 pairs of pants.
Proud of you kids for making it work. Mixed marriages can be tough.
