See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Is it wrong that I thought Dan Stevens was hotter as the Beast than after he turned back into the prince?

As Hec noted, everyone thinks this! Although, God, Stevens was absolutely perfect as the post-transformation prince. The moment when he looks at his transformed hands, then turns and looks at Belle? He had clearly watched the animated version roughly a frillion times.

But, yeah, the animated version was better. And because I am (along with Plei) lyric's bitch, it annoyed me no end that when the villagers stormed the Beast's castle they left out Ashman's searing line, "We don't like/What we don't/Understand/In fact, it scares us."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

GASP

I didn't like the books, didn't even finish the first one. This movie? OMG. This is right up my alley, specifically the dark one with the cobblestone street behind the NYC apartment complex in my mind.

Wow, that looks really cool. (I never read the books.)

But... are there no women at all in these books?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I haven't read the books and I haven't even watched the trailer, but y'all's reactions are making me want to see the movie

There's a woman in a wheelchair, I think, who is very special. I didn't read that far. As much as I like Stephen King's writing, I forget that I really like his non-fiction, not so much the horror/thrillers.
