It's not like she blew me off. She just left with another guy, that's all.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I thought Ming looked pretty spiffy as well.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Watched quite a few films in the last week or so - all off Netflix

Sing Street - recommend
Chef - recommend
V for Vendetta - enjoyed
ST. Vincent - recommend
Tallulah - enjoyed
Cake - I thought Aniston was great, but the movie just kinda sat there.
Hugo - Beautiful movie, but the story was disjointed and there was more build-up than warranted.

move out and draw fire

That was also the explanation given for the watermelon in the novelization of Buckaroo Banzai. Which is actually pretty good.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I love Hugo--it's an annual rewatch for me.

I need to watch some of the others, though.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw Deadpool tonight! I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

Always Anti-fascist!

I just watched "Me Before You", traitor to my people that I can be. As a movie, I didn't hate it. As a barometer of successful living for disabled people? Of course, it sucked(But I'm not sure it was really trying to do that, either, and should it?) But part of me would think it'd be nice if there could be another version where he takes his mad financial skills and uses them to help people instead of just winning, and then he goes home with Lou and learns how to make love when you can't climb up on the kitchen table or whatever.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Finally saw Hidden Figures, which was SO GREAT. I was planning to go with my mother, and a couple friends of hers ended up also coming, and come to find out, he was literally working on rockets at Langley in 1959! I had no idea. Bananas.

he was literally working on rockets at Langley in 1959!
