Tom King really, really, REALLY likes traumatizing his characters.
EDIT: He especially wants to traumatize characters that were previously known for being optimistic, like Wally and Dick and Kara.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

a Themyscira Game of Thrones-style series
GOT-style as in complex political intrigue with high production values or GOT-style as in "we're only showing you this much graphic rape because of how much we care about historical accuracy"
How much political intrigue is there supposed to be in a utopian isolated society of immortal women ruled by the same leader for over 3000 years?
That's kind of my thinking, too. While there's occasional stories about dissenters/exiles that Diana encounters/has to deal with I don't recall there ever being opposing factions or anything like that within their society.
Maybe it's post-movie intrigue where they have to figure things out with much of their leadership dead?
Did we know Danny Strong played Dean Martin in a deleted scene in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?
I tried to find it but I don't think it's out there
Danny Strong is not person I would have ever guessed to have the best post-Buffy career, especially since it really isn't an acting career.
I'd say Joss had that rather than Danny until he was Me Tooed.
We watched Black Adam tonight, and while the movie was kind of "eh" overall, I am shocked that there now exists a version of Hawkman that I like.
After watching quite a few more movies than I had planned, my wish list for tonight's Oscars: [link]
