Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dev Patel + a beard is up there with CEvans + beard and you all know how I feel about that.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

If you don't mind being spoiled for a 700-something year old medieval poem, The Toast did a hilarious take on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight several years back: [link]

Those two Dev Patel movies are both... quite something. I'm far more interested in the Copperfield one, I admit. That looks fantastic. The Green Knight one? Errrr.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I saw Birds of Prey this past weekend. Had a blast. I might buy it on DVD and add it to my scotch, chocolate, and badass women plans that I make each Valentine's Day (except for this past one, where I was ill).

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw it yesterday. Enjoyed it a lot - while it was more violent than I'd usually like, the fight choreography was terrific. And I developed a fondness for Bruce.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'm seeing it tomorrow and I can't wait. I've loved Harley since BTAS.

Thrive to spite them

We are going to see it tomorrow. I read an article about the fight scenes and how good they are both in terms of choreography and lighting/editing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The plan was to see it tomorrow while ltc went out with my in-laws, but now ltc is sick and I need a new plan.

HQ: BoP was *excellent* fun. The plot is paper-thin, but I didn't mind one bit. The girl power themes are hammered HARD and not with any subtlety, which for me was exactly what I wanted and so it was great.

Margot Robbie is a joy to watch. She is having SO MUCH FUN.

Ewan MacGregor's performance is...confusing, but as a personification of rich white male fragility it kind of works?

The fight choreography which has been praised everywhere is REALLY that good. And well lit! You can actually see what people are doing!

The pace lags a bit in the middle, but the last 1/3rd makes up for it. I would have liked less set up and more time with the girl gang all together.

I have already complained on Twitter about the unforgivable sandwich continuity error.
