Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Finally got everything I need for my Oscar night menu:
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood taqueria buffet
Parasite (peach) frozen margaritas
1917 (cherry) margaritas
Irishman ice cream sundaes

I wanted to make sure I hit all the top contenders with my menu and was very happy to see they still made viciously green ice cream (in the form of mint moose tracks and pistachio almond) for the sundaes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I want to go to megan's house to watch the Oscars. I may make onion dip or not.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Dana, Ewan McGregor and Chris Messina have been very cagey about a rumored flirtation between their characters in the movie. Is seeing how whatever it is plays out going to leave me angry afterwards?

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Matt--

There's definitely a weird dynamic going on, though I think it could be read as just fucked-up power stuff, rather than specifically homoerotic. OTOH, it wasn't a big leap for me to go there, but I'm probably more willing than most people to see it that way. There's certainly nothing explicit (in the non-dirty sense of the word)--no kissing or touching or saying anything to imply it.

Also, Chris Messina? Holy fuck, I did not recognize him.

Much obliged!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Holy shit, Parasite just won Best Original Screenplay! I was sure it would go to Tarantino. Great, now I'm getting my hopes up re. its path to winning the Best Picture. Hope is terrible! BUT WHAT IF.

Jojo Rabbit was alright but I'm legit bummed that Greta Gerwig didn't take the Adapted Screenplay for Little Women, for which she did such a cracking great job.

The less said about the opening "banter" between Chris Rock and Steve Martin, the better.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Sound Editing/Mixing: 1917 or Ford v Ferrari, maybe they'll split them since there are 2 awards

CALLED IT

The fuck was going on with that Eminem performance? I mean, the audience seemed to like it but why... ? Was he there? I don't understand.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Someone on Twitter said he won for Lose Yourself but wasn't there to perform or pick up the award, so...

They over-introduce people who don't need an introduction and then fail to introduce segments that are confusing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Are the producers of this show somehow against the actual Academy?? It's bizarre.

Please tell me the costumes Rebel Wilson and James Corden are wearing are flammable.
