Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I have not watched Fleabag. I will watch Fleabag.

S1 was iffy for me, but S2 is amazeballs. It's so, SO good.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I'm the only one who loved S1 more than S2.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Vonnie, I have actually listened to that Thirst Aid Kit!!

Back in the day, I was actually talked to at my second job for reading Pacey fanfic on a site called Pacey Porn. It was an insane time. But it gave us Sarah D Bunting, Tara Ariono, Linda Holmes and TWOP. But it is so terrible I can't really rewatch.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh man, TWOP. The amount of time I wasted on their Buffy board before finding Buffistas!

Back to the movies: I have a ticket for the 11 AM showing of Little Women tomorrow. YAY! I was going to drive up to Canada on Christmas Day, but decided to postpone the trip until 26th because I NEEDED to see the movie before going home, haha (my folks are not big into going to the movies to start with and there id no way I am gonna be able to drag any of them to see this particular film). I was like, spending Christmas with family or Little Women? I mean, choices were made and I'm not proud, etc.

(In my defense, I don't really care that much about Christmas and this way, I won't be dragged to the Christmas mass by my parents, so really, it's win/win!)

I'm working half day today and am thinking of squeezing in another showing this afternoon. So Bombshell or Frozen 2? I've seen everything else that's available. The award season completist in me demands I check out Bombshell but wahhh, I don't wanna.

Another option is to go see Uncut Gems for the second time (it just started playing today in my local theater), but I don't know if I can take the stress. It's a FLAMAZING film and I kinda want everyone to check it out, but it's one of those movies that will NOT work for everybody. But gosh, what an adrenaline rush! If you think it might be fun to spend 2 hours yelling at a charismatic protagonist who is also THE WORST, about a series of increasingly terrible decisions he makes, then this movie might be for you! I mean, you might have a heart attack at the end of the film, but what is life without risks, etc.

... I wonder if I can leave now. There is literally nobody here.

Our wings are not tired.

Flee, Vonnie! Go see Frozen 2.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, good, I just saw that Uncut Gems existed a couple days ago and couldn't figure out if it was for me or not - I now suspect that it is. Thanks, Vonnie!

Bombshell seems like an excellent cast and probably a good movie but I just can not with that. It is reminding me that I still want to see Atomic Blonde, though.

I might just see little women in the theatre. I have to point out that I never see movies in the theatre, to the point the last one might have been Cars. Or Chicago. I did watch Moulin Rouge multiple times, though. Right now, my big barrier is driving- there are no theatres really on a bus line. And Maria hates to go with me because ai talk/sing.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I do want to see Little Women; maybe this weekend. But I'm a no for Uncut Gems, that sounds like nails-ona-chalkboard for me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Have you watched Fleabag? In S2, Andrew Scott TOTALLY has that quality. Vonnie can attest to that.

Is it easy to get past his association with other roles? For example, Moriarty. Which, you know, keeps making this Hot Priest thing confusing for me, but I haven't watched Fleabag.

Our wings are not tired.

I know I need to see Little Women, but truth be told it was the first book that made me ugly cry as a child and I never re-read it from the childhood trauma. More than 5 decades later I might take it better.
