I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

hip deep in pie

I got exactly 31 seconds into the trailer and noped out because it's too creepy.

Me too. WTF?

Because books.

Okay, I watching, thinking, "This isn't bad," and then, boom, there it was. ::shudders::

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I misread "Tom Hooper" as "Tobe Hooper" and was puzzled by him directing despite having died a couple of years ago. Though it definitely looks like a horror movie, so in some ways it fit.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Did we learn nothing from Sonic the Hedgehog?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The Cats trailer just makes me sad. I know Cats is a punchline, but I saw it in the original Broadway run (and the revival a couple years ago) and it's an amazing piece of theater. Taking away the costumes, makeup, and dancing (yeah yeah, Andy Blankenbuehler, but most of the cast are not dancers) and you have...not theater. Digital fur WTF.

Our wings are not tired.

We saw the original Broadway run as well, back over 30 years ago. I'll keep those happy memories.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw it in the theater. I spotted something in the paper this morning - seemingly it's using a new technology to, um, "enhance" the furriness ... and a lot of people are finding it creepy. Including Taylor Swift is kind of a no-brainer, but Judy Dench and Ian McKellan leave me scratching my head.

Judy Dench and Ian McKellan leave me scratching my head.

Judi Dench originated the role of Grizabella in the 1981 London cast.

I came across this, which I'm nominating for tweet of the day (in this subject area):

IT Chapter Two: I'm the scariest trailer you'll see all day!

Cats: Hold my milk

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just don't understand why Jennifer Hudson's voice sounds so strained. She's singing in a studio! She doesn't need to work that hard!
