Your computer isn't an option with Amazon?

It says: "Watch instantly on Fire HD, Amazon Fire TV, game consoles, smart TVs, mobile phones and other streaming devices. "

It's starting to look like the way they were showing the Olympics online, tell them who your cable provider was first to see if you were worthy of seeing it online.

I can check the library, but their collection tends very heavily to family movies and educational stuff. I suspect regular release movies at the library are seen either as unfair competition to rental outlets or are stolen quickly.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I'm pretty sure you can stream it from Amazon on your computer without prime membership. Or rent it from Google Play and play it on your computer. You only have 48hs to watch it once you start streaming it though: [link]

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

iTunes might also have it. You could check WhereToWatch.com to find out which sites have it available to rent or buy.

Unless your computer is too old?

Ooo, must research. I bought this computer three weeks ago, it's a Win10, it should be fine.

And I will ogle any bit of Renner I can get my eyeballs on. I even actually bought "Hansel and Gretel" for the skinny dipping scene. That movie gets a lot of fast forwarding.

(With video tape you could just rewind it to the place you wanted to watch and leave it there)

I think you're fine on your computer. They probably emphasize streaming devices because they assume that people consider their computer to be the default device.

I'm starting to feel like Old Man Simpson: "Old man yells at [online] Cloud!"

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Connie, just go to Amazon Movies and search for Ghost Protocol, you should be able to rent it in HD for $3.99. You have 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish it once started.

Thank you! I have a Friday evening of cold diet Coke and pizza and ass-and-arm ogling ahead!

(and I occasionally do feel bad about objectifying him, but then I see a clip of him giggling and want to smish him)

In an unrelated news, Matt Damon is... saving China from monsters during the building of The Great Wall 1,000 years ago? THE HELL? [link]

It's directed by Zhang Yimou of the Raise the Red Lantern, Hero, House of Flying Daggers-fame, and looks like half the cast are Chinese. So presumably not a Gods of Egypt type fiasco or What All These People Need Is A Honkey narrative. Still. Matt Damon in that outfit! I think they're going for Epic but it mostly looks silly? Given that it's Zhang Yimou, it'll at least look gorgeous.

Gorgeous silly is wonderful!
