Hey, if it means I don't have to read any more, woo and, might I add, a big hoo.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2015: Goodnight moon

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.

Go away, 2015.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Suzi, thank you for the card and star! The star is hanging on the wall, making my kitchen look all Christmasy.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Suzi, did you send me the green snowflake? It appeared mysteriously, it must have fallen out of the envelope. It's lovely!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

It was likely me unless someone else made snowflakes. I had a blast making them and it is fun seeing them reach their new homes. Thanks for letting me share with y'all.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Suzi thank you so much! It was waiting for me when I got back from surgery. I didn't have time to put ornaments on my tree before I went in, so it's the only ornament on my tree, and it looks beautiful.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yes, thank you Suzi! I look forward to hanging it on my tree tonight.

I got a box from Santa! I am guessing it is my Secret Santa present, but I am tormenting myself by trying not to open it until I get home.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Suzi, THANK YOU for the amazing and gorgeous snowflake. Grace loves it. I love it! We hung it up immediately.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Last year, I very carefully rationed my secret Santa presents, and only opened one per day.

I didn't do that this year. I got a tile key finder, a really pretty scarf with sparkles in it, an SPN ornament, and a 3D unicorn mug.

ALL SO AWESOME

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Suzi, the snowflake is beautiful -- and the whole gift project even more so!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

We got a snowflake too! It's all red and sparkly and gorgeous and is hanging on our tree right now. Thank you so much!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Suzi! Thank you for the pretty card and the beautiful red sparkly snowflake! They arrived today, and aside from lights and the angel topper, your snowflake was the first (and only, so far) ornament on the tree.

So far this year I'm excelling at slacking. No cards written, addressed, or sent at all. I did get a birthday card in the mail on time for my turning-96 year old friend and former writing group member, so I'm counting that one as a win.

Things are stalled while I try to remember where I put the rassenfrassen red tapers. The candlesticks are out and the greenery ready, I just can't find the damned candles...
